About the Wakehurst Mini’s (U6 to U9)
All Wakehurst Rugby Mini’s teams compete in the Warringah/Manly Districts Mini’s Competition held between Late March and August each year.

The Warringah/Manly Districts play under the ARU’s Kids Pathway Laws which have been developed with a focus on safety and increased activity levels.

TryRugby Kids Pathway for U6 – U12 players provides a series of age-specific modified rugby games.

The U6-U9 age groups play in Minis competitions organised by local Districts. There are seven different Minis competitions operating in Sydney. These competitions operate under the Pathways Laws and provide a series of age-specific modified rugby games.

These modified games progressively develop the individual skills, fitness and teamwork of all players in accordance with their physical maturity and understanding of the game.
