Thanks for having us Wakehurst Rugby Club (Official) 👍🐺🏉
Unfortunately Wakehurst was again broken into on Friday night, The thieves look like they have returned and ransacked the canteen, smashed windows, stolen the cash register and all the post mix vodka cruisers, Jim bean and Bundys. It is a down heartening outcome for our club after being so recently broken into with such vandalism. We will install some security roller shutters on the bar and canteen to keep the thieves out from here on in.
It wasn’t all bad news though, we had over 30 kids attend our try rugby program on Friday night from 5pm. There were 13 U6s running around and we are a few girls short of forming a stand alone girls U7s team. If there are any girls U6 ,7 & 8 who would like to join our girls team please reach out. The kids had a great time and finished the session with a red frog and a sausage sandwich. We still have spaces available for the free event. Thanks to Trytime Rugby Camps and for their support as well as Charlie, Craig, Frank and Bashful for helping run the session. See you all this Friday afternoon. … See MoreSee Less
How do we like and dislike this at the same time? That's horrible and so frustrating for such a wonderful club. We look forward to getting back there on Friday for the positive part of the this post, where kids will run around and have fun with their friends.
Do the police have any leads? Can’t believe it’s happened a second time
